Basically this means that Comics is third in line of what the overall company does. They have Marvel Entertainment (the movies and DVDs), Toy Biz and bringing up the rear - Marvel Comics...

Back in the 40s and 50s, Republic Pictures used to crank out Saturday afternoon serials featuring many comic book-style heros. I've long thought that there was such a market today with Marvel and DC's lesser-known heros. I think D2DVD is the perfect outlet for such a franchise.

Obviously Marvel agrees with you as they are doing a series of animated features with LionsGate and then this pack of movies with Paramount. The unique thing about this deal is that it is independent of studio financing - Marvel is its own studio now with the $ to make pictures the way they want to make them.

I've always wanted to see an ANT-MAN movie (with the old Kirby helmet) a NIGHTHAWK with him as a reformed jewel thief turned reluctant superhero, and of course a LEGION OF MONSTERS movie...

And a Kirbyesque THOR, THE GARGOYLE (done as a horror movie) MORBIUS, THE LIVING VAMPIRE (same reason), ROM... a plethora of the 2nd string heroes.
