I have no doubt as to the simplicity of the architecture of this story, and the depth and complexity of the characterization whilst bullets fly...
Now let me ask you this:
Don't you want your movies, stories, comics, action figures, animations to be memorable and leave your audience wanting more?
Pulp works in any genre of media. So do yourself the favor and work the pulp.
