Who Here Remembers War Comics?

While we here on the American shores were devouring the likes of SGT. ROCK, THE UNKNOWN SOLDIER, THE HAUNTED TANK, THE LOSERS and ENEMY ACE, our British cousins were devouring these pulpy bits of goodness.

Moran seems to have lost or switched his meds...

I should tell you about the time he was at the Gallifrey con running around naked with a Prussian Field Marshal's spiked helmet on... kept yelling something about the Maginot Line and humping a Dalek.

I should tell you, but I was sworn to secrecy.

(IMHO many of the covers are in various European languages. That's because the British strips would be bought, translated and published with new covers).

The best war comics are Weird War Tales. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weird_War_Tales
