In today's Video Business they are reporting that consumers tend to favor shorts over feature length downloads...

I don't think that shows very much yet, since $2 for one hour of Lost will strike most people as a much better deal than $20-26 for 2 hours of movie -- especially when they can get that movie on physical DVD for $16 while they're loading up on bulk mac and cheese.

The downloadable movies need to drop to about 1/2 to 2/3 retail disk price before we can see if they're genuinely competitive.
