Here's how the evening started with a nice table from the folks at Davor's Cafe in the downtown district of metropolitan Aiken, SC.The folks there did a remarkable job.
Then , after my parents were settled in I surprised them by coming out of the restroom behind them.
My mom was in shock for a moment.

It looks like a lovely party! But, should you really surprise people of your parents' vintage?! Bad boy. I am sure they were delighted to see you. Are you the oldest or the baby?
My sister-in-law and I worked this out. We made sure that they were both sitting down and relaxed...
But they both drank a bottle of wine each during the evening...
