Feel Like This Guy?

Everybody does at some point.

Unseen. Unnoticed. Unappreciated.

Don't let it get to you. It's a poison. A darkness thick as molasses that will suck you under.

Do the work instead. Yes, even if you're in pain. Especially if you're in pain.

Pain is only weakness leaving the body.

Getting stuff done is better, healthier.

Thanks. I really needed this. At just the exact moment(literally) that I started to think that no one really knows my work, knows me, "I'll never do such and such."

It's all about the work. That is something I have realized, again, and again, and again, and again.

I have been a working actor, which means that I worked and made my living as an actor which was still far below the poverty line. And I have written my whole life. And I make films now. And I a scenic carpenter and technical director in the theater.

And in all these endeavors, I am happiest when I focus on completing work. Making fun, exciting, cool, wonderous stuff, and completing the projects.

I have a novel i am almost finished with. Just about one week left of writing on it. I have an unedited film that needs... editing! And I am finally putting stuff out into the world with my acting, again.

All this, in short, is to say, thank you. Thank you for posts like this one that help me feel less alone, that get me out of my bullshit. And thanks for keeping this blog, yet again.
