I googled Alien Vs. Predator, and I'm surprised to discover that this doesn't really match the box art. Do they not like showing the Predator in profile?
I have to say, I love the I Am Omega box art. I realize on their budget that they'll never have an actual scene that matches the scale of what's on the cover, but I like it better than the Omega Man art.
Same thing for 30000 Leagues. They don't feel compelled to cram their actor's faces onto the cover and crowd out a perfectly good picture of a robotic squid. (Because, of course, nobody would recognize their actors, and, hey, ROBOTIC SQUID!)

At about 1/100th of the budget.
Damn that league outsourcing.
Forgive my ignorance, but how do these guys avoid getting the stuffing sued out of them for, among other things, trade dress infringement?
In the case of 30,000 - Jules Verne is in the public domain. Anyone can do anything with it.
In regard the other films, I don't know.
